Session update might fail If the next hop mac is not programmed in the hardware. BFD user space process will make multiple attempts to resolve the next hop mac in then it invokes the session update.
Contact technical support with the following information if the multiple attempts failed to update the sessions. - output of "show tech" - output of "show iparp" - output of "show neighbor-discovery" - output of "debug hal show platform bfd all"
